Elaine is the principal harpist with the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra and auxiliary harpist with the Louisville Orchestra. She has played with the Orchestras in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Evansville, Columbus, Berkeley, and the Aspen Festival Orchestra. As acting principal harp with the Louisville Orchestra for three years, she performed at Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center. 
Elaine teaches at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Centre College in Danville, and with the Lexington Talent Education Association.  
She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music Degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. 
Elaine has performed in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, New York City, Maine, Georgia, Missouri, Colorado, California, China, and has been awarded Community Arts Development Grants from the Lexington Arts and Cultural Council.
Elaine has been featured regularly at Spindletop Hall, The Lexington Club, Idle Hour Country Club, Campbell House, Joseph Beth Booksellers and many retirement living centers.  She has played for events at the Galt House, The Seelbach Hotel, Bell Events Center, Marriott, Embassy Suites, Radisson, Hyatt, Castle Post, Bodley-Bullock House, and venues throughout Central Kentucky, and in the Greater Cincinnati area. Her family has made its way in music for generations: composers, music critics, opera singers, symphony orchestra members in Cincinnati, Louisville, Detroit, and Vienna.
